"Of course, for many people, money is the make or break factor in retirement.
Without it, you can be reliant upon bingo for entertainment. With it, the
world is yours to explore. Retirees have to think not only about the amount
of money available, but what may imperil that nest-egg. “Living too
long is the major risk,” says Randy Dutka, practice leader for retirement
at Watson Wyatt, a national consulting firm specializing in human resources
and financial management. “Inflation and investment risk are also things
that people don’t worry about enough,” says Toronto-based Dutka."
