Beatnik Baby Iillustration
Well, just after I drew this up things kind of came together and I was asked to read in the Summer Dream Literary Arts Festival in Vancouver. Yes, I am a writer too. Usually, I write short fiction and when I don't have that much time to dedicate to it, I bang out a little poetry. I read a few poems at the festival and I really enjoyed it. The festival took place in Stanley Park with little tents populating the place, and it was just beautiful beneath those enormous trees.A big thanks to Fran Bourssa for asking me to step up to the plate for Word Whips the North Shore Edition and also to Bonnie who started it all. My love of writing was the influence for this Illustration. She's a beatnik Baby.
